Make sure the price is right
Too high and you risk excluding potential buyers. Equally, a buyer will always want to negotiate down so if it is too low then you risk selling for less than you would have liked.

Keep it clean (and tidy)
You never get a second chance to make a first impression, so make sure the first impression counts. Make sure your property it as tidy as it can possibly be prior to each viewing. Prospective buyers are also hugely put off by dirt, so make sure it’s spotless, too.

Come out smelling of roses
Perhaps not literally, but you don’t want to put potential buyers off with unusual household smells. There is a lot to be said for keeping your property fresh and odour-free, so make sure there’s nothing that could cloud a buyer’s judgement (or their noses).
